Call requirements

Ready for your onboarding call with yoummday? We are looking forward to meeting you!

Here are a few things that you need to know in order to prepare for a successful onboarding call - the final step before you can start applying for freelance projects. During the call, we’ll check two categories of things:

1. Your documents and workspace (to meet privacy and security standards)
2. Your technology setup (to ensure smooth and efficient work)

Having everything ready will make the process quick and stress-free.

1. Documents & Workspace

• Be at your desktop & workspace
  Please join the call from your actual work location and your desktop so we can verify your setup.
• Locable workspace
  Your workspace should be private and lockable to keep client information secure.
• Monitor not visible from the outside
  Make sure no one outside your workspace (for example through a window) can see your screen. This is important for data protection.
• Bring your documents & ID
  Keep your identification documents close at hand so we can confirm your identity.

2. Technology

• Install the yoummday app
  The app must be installed before the call so we can verify your work address and confirm that the location where you’ll be working fulfils all other requirements.
• Fast LAN internet connection (50+ Mbps)
  A stable, high-speed connection helps you work in projects without interruptions.
• PC/laptop with Windows 11+ or macOS 11+
  A modern operating system ensures security compliance, as well as compatibility with the yoummday platform.
• Wired headset, keyboard & mouse
  Wired equipment is more reliable than wireless and ensures clear sound and smooth operation. It is also a data privacy requirement set by some of our customers to protect sensitive project information.
• Have your camera switched on
  Your camera must stay on during the call so we can complete all verification checks (including ID verification and workspace confirmation).
